Hi there everyone! Well.. the Kueter household seems to be on the mend. I start my new job on Monday - very exciting. I'm going back to my 'old' work. It has been five years since I left there and it is the first time I've gone to work in three years since I had the boys. I can't wait! I will miss my little boys terribly though. At least it is only three days a week. The best of both worlds.
My card today is for both Pink Ink Sketch challenges and Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges. I was a little cheeky and combined both DT assisgnments as they were due to be posted within a couple of hours of each other.
Jeanette has designed a fantastic sketch for us to play with this week at Pink Ink Sketch Challenges. I couldn't wait to get started on it. At Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges we are looking for Shaped cards. I thought I'd make a label shaped card but use the sketch. The card shape is cut on my Cricut.
Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges is sponsored this month by Lili of the Valley stamps with a 10 pound voucher going to a lucky winner. To be eligable to win all you have to do is create a shaped card using your favourite animal stamps. I have used the adorable Puss in Boot stamp from Lili of the Valley. This cutie has been sitting in my collection just waiting for some ink.
Pink Ink Sketch Challenges is sponsored by Whiff of Joy and Wags and Whiskers this fortnight so there are some amazing prizes up for grabs there too. You really don't want to miss playing with Jeanette's amazing sketch. I just LOVED it.
I've coloured the image with my Copics. The gorgeous papers are Prima Botanicals. The pretty carob lace is Websters.
All of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just love the large peach rose! It is a 40mm Pale Peach Trellis Rose. The other flowers are: 25mm Deep Ivory Wild Rose, 20mm Deep red Open Rose, 10mm open roses in Autumn Gold.
I would also like to enter my card into some fabby challenges...
Lili of the Valley - Roses
Little Red Wagon - Put a Critter on it
One Stop Craft - Vintage
I hope to have another card to share with you on Sunday for MDUC but I am having a little trouble crafting while I've been sick. Sleep seems to have taken priority! The image is all coloured up so it should just be a matter of making the card... fingers crossed I get a chance to put it together in time as I have finally coloured up one ofthe new images from the Summer club.
I will also be posting a candy in a few days. I realised the other day that it is almost my 2 year blogaversary! Gosh how the time flies. I have been so fortunate over these last two years I would love to give something back. So stay tuned....
And have a great weekend everyone!
