Earth Tilda

Hi everyone,
I have a new card here to share with you today.
This is the adorable Earth Tilda from the World Wide Web collection which was recently released.
She is just adorable, isn't she?

All embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl
The sentiment is North Star stamps.
Papers are Kaisercraft.
The front of the card is cut using a Go Kreate die.

Beautiful Tilda is coloured wiith Copics. Some glossy accents added to the Earth.

Well, that's it from me today. Hopefully I have something more to share with you soon.
Until then

Relax

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
This card has taken me two weeks to make :/  It has been super busy over here with school holidays etc. However, I managed to finish it and am very pleased as I adore this Mo's image. It has been a very long time since I last coloured a Mo's stamp, I don't know why, I have quite a few and they're all adorable. Just finding the time I guess.

This stamp is a digital one from Mo's called appropriately "Coffee".  It reminds me of that feeling of first sip in the morning.  With the school holidays over here, there are been quite a few "coffee" moments in my house!

The papers are a bit of a mix. When I sat down to colour this beauty, I didnt have a clue which papers I was going to use, I just wanted to colour, so when it came time to choose papers, I had about 6 paper pads out looking to match the colours. Most are either MME or Kaisercraft.

The flowers and twine are from The Ribbon Girl.

And finally the side view for so you can see the dimension.
I hope to find some more time to create over the next few days so I hope to be a little more active here.
Until late, Kylie x

Ribbon Girl card challenge - Pastel Colours

Happy Easter everyone :)
I hope you've all had a lovely day so far.

My card today is for the Ribbon Girl Card Challenge. This week we're looking for Pastel Colours.
We are sponsored by Lili of the Valley and the Ribbon Girl, so two beautiful prizes are up for grabs.

I've used an older Tilda from 2011, Butterfly Dreams "Tilda and her Bunny".

I've used lots of pretty Ribbon Girl products on my card.

On the background I have stamped "Chicken Wire" from Little Easter 2013 and Black Dots and Butterflies from Butterfly Dreams 2011

I hope you get a chance to join the challenge this week and have an enjoyable Easter with your family.
Until later,
Hugs Kylie

Altered Egg carton

Happy  Easter everyone,
I'd like to share a little project I have been working on.

This is an altered egg carton that I'd been saving to play with.
I removed the label and painted on some gesso to shabby it up then set to work with this adorable little bunny from Magnolia.

This is Bunny Prince masked with a background stamp from the Lost and Found collection 2013.
All of the flowers, ribbon and ricrac and be found at The Ribbon Girls.

I would like to enter some challenges!

I do have something else to share with you tomorrow.

Until then, Happy Easter!

A little more sewing

Hi everyone, I am back with a little sewing project to share.

I was in desperate need for a table cloth that fits my very large dining table. They are really hard to come by at a reasonable price that doesn't involve some 1980's seersucker!  There was only one thing left to do - get out the sewing machine.

I bought some good quality calico and some pretty cotton lace and got to work.
A similar lace is available from the Ribbon Girl store.
I'm pretty happy with the end result.  It will be put to the test on Sunday for Easter brunch.

I will be back on Sunday with a card to share.
Hope the Easter bunny is good to you!
