Fly me to the Moon - Kathrin's sketch

I'm late! I'm late!  Sorry everyone. I hope you are having a better weekend than we are, lol. After a week of stomach bugs, colds and doctors visists, we took our 2 year old to the doctors again yesterday as he was still being sick and then through the night our three year old woke up with croup and conjunctivitis! So off to the doctors again today.  After spending a small fortune at the pharmacy and we're home, all dosed up.  That had better be the end of the illness at our house for a while because DH and I are exhausted ourselves.

So I am late making and posting my card for Magnolia Down Under Challenges. Kathrin has designed a gorgeous sketch for us to play with this week and I'm afraid in my tired state I haven't done it justice. Sorry Kathrin! But it is a great sketch so I will use it again for another card down the track and give it the attention it deserves.

I finailly inked up some stamps from the new The Winner Takes It All collection. OMG - I have had these stamps sitting on my desk for at least a month now so it is about time. I am so pleased to have finally made a card with them as they are so cute all coloured up. The papers are all Websters Pages.

I stamped around the edge of the image with Versamark and the starts from the You are so Special collection then sprinkled on silver embossing powder and heat set. Tilda's helmet is coated with Glossy Accents.  The teal net trim is Websters and the rhinestone stars are Kaisercraft. The silver berries are Magnolia and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts (Pale Peach Trellis Roses, 25mm Wild Roses, Silver filigree corners).

I hope you get a chance to come and play with Kathrin's sketch at MDUC this week. There is a great prize up for grabs for the winner from Shop Bron .

Thanks for visiting and sorry for the whinge :)
Hugs xx

  1. Oh you poor things, I hope you are all feeling better soon, we have all just gotten over a virus here and the kids and I got a lovely dose of food poisoning on friday (could have been a tummy bug but I think it was a dodgy roast chicken myself!) I love this card and these stamps are too cute :) thanks for the link for the photo corners, I have been looking EVERYWHERE for some of these, I asked at my local scrap shop and she had no idea what I was on about, bahahah!!
