Hello Friends! I was playing around last night colouring in sepia. I saw the challenges for Everybody Art (Monochromatic Brown) and Stampavie and More (Monochrome) and an idea struck, lol. I thought the gorgeous Whiff of Joy Winter Church would look fabulous if I tried out that cracked glass technique over a sepia coloured image. My only issue is - I didnt have any UTEE... only clear embossing powder, so I made do, lol and embossed it 5 times. So I was pretty happy with the result, considering that it was my first go.
What do you think? I tried to make it look like an old photo. The paper is Crate Paper, from the rather funky "Snow Day" paper pad. But I thought it worked pretty well in a vintage setting with a few matts and some lovely lace.
So more challenges are:
ABC Christmas - X for Xmas
Crazy 4 Challenges - Christmas Card
Creative Inspirations - Christmas/Winter
Stamp with Fun - Square
I also just wanted to alert you all to my gorgeous bloggy friend Stephanne's candy... over HERE... she has some Belles n Wistles gorgeousness up for grabs for a lucky winner...
