Ohhh.... its the weekend! How wonderful! I have a little card here to share with you today that I was playing with this week. This is Gingerbread Tilda and I have coloured her on the Bee Paper that I was talking about the other day... only this time, I've not only coloured her with Copics, I've also had a little go at deepening the shaddows with distress ink. Its my first go at watercolouring in a very very loooonnnggg time so be nice :) All of the pleats and folds in her clothing, her shoes and basket and the shape of her hat and face are slightly coloured with distress ink. The surrounding is also coloured with distress ink (Walnut Stain and Old Paper). It was fun experimenting so I think I will try this again... I do need the pracitce :S
The gorgeous papers are Websters Minis, "Waiting for Santa and Sweet Season". I thought the little gingerbread houses went well with the cute image. Tilda's gingerbread hearts in her basket, and the punched hearts are covered in Crystal Effects for a little bit of gloss. I distressed the edges of the image as well. Its a pretty simple layout, but the papers and image are able to hold there own :)
Some challenges for Gingerbread Tilda are:
Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club #44 - Anything Goes
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Distressing
ABC Christmas Challenge - X for Xmas
Creative Inspirations - Christmas/Winter
My Partner in Crafting Crime - Marker Madness
Paper Sundaes - Pick your Toppings (I've gone Punches, Ribbon and there is a tiny bit of blue (leaves and papers)
Stampin for the Weekend - Winter
Such a cute little stamp, and goes so well with the gingerbread houses :o) It is such a nice fresh card. *hugz*
