Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #19 SKULLS

OMG - how cute is this Witch Lylah? She is one of the Lil Lolita "Lil Haunts" recently released at Tickled Pink Stamps. I wanted to use her for this week's Lil Lolita Boutique challenge... but the challenge this week is SKULLS... and guess what? Not a single skull to be seen! Only a cute little pumpkin in her hand. Oh no! What to do.....

So Witch Lylah cast a little spell and POOF!! Her pumpkin was no longer! She now has a cute little cupcake decorated with a tiny skull in her hand instead. The cupcake is from the "Tickled Pink Birthday set". Ahh... the joy of digital images. Oh - there is one more detail that I wanted to draw your attention to - the little spider... notice the red spot on his back.... yup, he is a little Red Back Spider, native to Australia and highly poisonous. Just a little Aussie touch :)

Instead of making a card this week, I made a little treat cover instead. It feels so strange to be doing so many Halloween related projects this year. Halloween is still not really celebrated in Australia, although last year we did get some little witches knocking on our door unexpectedly. It has been really fun searching the net to get ideas of what is normally done in the Halloween celebrating countries.

There is also a new release being shown at the Tickled Pink Stamps blog NOW so please head over there to see something very cute!!

Challenges for this card are:
Crafts and Me - Halloween
Cupcake Crafts - Scary Creatures (ok, so I don't think Lylah is all that scary, hehe she actually reminds me of Samantha from Bewitched! But that little red back spider... eeek!)

Dutch Dare - Tagalicious (I used two tags on the top of the treat cover)
Everybody Art - Halloween
Fussy and Fancy - Halloween
