Ohh.... Sunday! I love Sundays. So relaxing. And it also means that it is time for a new Magnolia Down Under Challenge!
This week the theme is CHRISTMAS IN JULY...yep, another Christmas in July challenge, lol.
I decided to stay away from making a Christmas card and instead made a pop up card with a "days til Christmas" count down.
This week the theme is CHRISTMAS IN JULY...yep, another Christmas in July challenge, lol.
I decided to stay away from making a Christmas card and instead made a pop up card with a "days til Christmas" count down.
I've used three Magnolia stamps - Tilda & Edwin skating, tree background, and holly.
The little days til Christmas countdown was made by following a great tutorial by my fabulous MDUC teamie, Tanja which you can see here... Tanja's tutorial shows you how to make the count down wheel with a great download as well. I tried and tried, but because my card is a pop up card and the tutorial is made on an Easel card, I had to make a few little modifications. The mechanics of the wheel though is all thanks to Tanja's tutorial.
The background was air brushed with Copics (B 91, 93) and the "snow" is just white puff paint that I've heated with my heat tool. The images are all coloured with Copics as well and there is quite a bit of stickles on here as well.
wow, this is a master piece! You can use that as a countdown calendar to Christmas! that'll be a beautiful Christmas decoration at your home!!Just beautiful!
