Hi! Thanks for stopping by to visit me today. I have something close to my heart to show you today, it is my youngest's first birthday card. He turned one on 1 July and so I made this for him, which served the dual purpose of being my creation for Magnolia Down Under Challenges # 54 - Something for the Boys.
The gorgeous Princess Kristy let me borrow her cute little Lion and Elephant stamps (thanks so much Kristy!!) and I used this card from Chris Dark as my inspiration for the tree background. I loved Chris' card when I saw it and she was sweet enough to point me in the right direction to download the file for my Cricut (thank you so much Chris - I hope you like what I did with "your" background!). After I cut the trees onto kraft cardstock, I used Debbie P's faux wood technique on them (yes, I use it a lot, lol). The images are coloured with Copics.

And here is a little close up of my cute little animals, they were so much fun to colour. Magnolia really should do more of these little guys!

So dont forget to check out what the rest of the fabulous DT have created to inspire you! And you have until Saturday midday (AEST) to enter.
Too, too cute. I agree, they should make more of these adorable animal stamps. Maybe your cute card will encourage them!
