After my embarrassing revelation of my work desk last week, I decided to clean it up on the weekend and I am pleased to report that it is still fairly tidy!! I am so proud of my relatively tidy desk I'm joining in at WOYWW again this week - before I mess it up again.

My craft room is actually not exclusively my "own space". I share it with my hubby and his computer. He is nice enough to keep his "stuff" (lol, basically his computer and his chair!!) on his side of the room and I try not to spread my clutter outside the room :)
Our craft room (hehe) used to be our baby room. Both of my boys were in here as infants until they were old enough to go down the hall a bit (sleeping through basically) and then at Christmas time little Aiden moved into his new room with his lovely cloud painted wall and we were able to revamp this room so it wasn't "baby" anymore. So now we have the nice warm coffee coloured wall and my clever husband bought flatpack cubpoards and hung them on the wall so I could house all of my embellishments (you can see the bottom of the cupboard doors in the top of the photo). I keep all of my stamps in CD cases in the CD rack on my desk so I dont have to get up (lazy, lazy). The rack on the left is all of my Magnolia Stamps and the one on the right is everything else.
So there you have it, my desk this week! If I manage to keep it reasonably tidy, I'll share it again next week!

Ahhh, I was wondering what the CD racks were last week. Now I want overhead cupboards, that is such a fab idea!
ReplyDeleteAwesome space, love the overhead cupboards too lol. Love the idea's of the stamps in the CD rack I'm like you like having everything close by so you dont' have to get up lol.I used to keep mine in the draws on m desk but then I had to rummage through them, and I had to many in there, might have to try your idea. Love the idea of CD storage for stamps - am still deciding on a good way for me to store my stamps - atm I have a craft box for each stamp company. TFS.
ReplyDeleteHi Kylie that is a cool idea with the overhead cupboards, I reckon I'll have something like that in the new house.... ooooo its just to long to wait I want them now!! My stamps wouldn't fit in cd boxes in a cd stand. Most are stampin' up ones so heaps of dead trees!! Although they have just gone clear mount so happy about that. I keep my Magnolia's and etc in a5 folders with the Kaiser Zip Lock bag thingy. I have sooooo many folders.... to numerous to mention!! I like your walls too! hehehehe

He gets the space in front of the computer and the area where his chair sits!!!) Have a great day... love the makings of a card that I can see on your desk, can't wait to see the finished thing!

Lovely space and very tidy! My poor hubby has a job getting from the kitchen to the bedroom as my craft room is in between, so there's no hope of sharing it!!
