Hello and welcome to my post today for Mad for Markers!
I put together this little card using Magnolia stamps for you to see this week. The entire image is coloured with Copics. I've been seeing some work around where images have been coloured with Copics and the background coloured with watercolours, so I thought, why not do the entire thing in Copics!

The ground is coloured with G94 and G99 by making tiny ticks in alternate directions. I've then gone over this with G40 to create a little more tonal texture in some areas. The tree trunk is coloured with E57, 55 and 53 with some C3 for the darker shadow areas. The leave are also G94 and 99 and the flowers are RV 10 and R85. The birds are B 21, 23 and 26, the beak is Y35.
the sky is done by adding little dots of B00, B000 and B60. I've done this with tight dots close to the tree and smaller more sporadic dots as I got closer to the edges. I've then gone over this with the colourless blender 0 to help spread the colour. I did the sky before I did the little flowers coming out of the ground.
I hope you like what did with this card. I had a great time experiementing when I made it!
And don't forget, if you are looking for Magnolia stamps, head over to Tickled Pink Stamps!
Enjoy your day!
