"If you build it.....they will come"

Happy New Year everyone! i hope you all celebrated in style. We didn't! We were fast asleep in bed by 10.30 last night, completely tired out from the littlies. Such party animals we are!

The "If you build it...they will come" phrase is from the movie Fields of Dreams and is slyly referring to the requests that I am now receiving from my nearest and dearest to make cards for them on special occassions. I am sure that you all experience this from time to time.

The card below is a request from my Mum to make a card for her to give to my Aunty for becoming a grandmother (again). There is no sentiment on the card other than the "LOVE" charm because, well, it is impossible to find a stamp saying such a thing and I didnt have anyway of doing the lettering myself other than handwriting it (ick) or printing it from the computer (ick-ick), so this will have to do!

The sweet image is from a retired Stamin Up set called Friendships Grow.

This is a Joy Fold card. I love making these cards. I made 20 something of them as birth announcements in the lead up to my little Aiden arriving. I must find a photo of those and put them up here.

Dutch Dare Challenges have their challenge set this fortnight as Oh Joy! - make a Joy Fold card - EASY PEASY!
