Only three months to go!

Ahhhh .... last day of school for my boys today! We now have two weeks off.
It has been a super busy term and they are both exhausted and looking forward to some quiet days.

I had a little play with another Christmas card over the last few nights. It is a fairly simply one but I am happy with how it turned out.  Can you believe that as of today there is just three months to Christmas? phew.... it is going to just speed by.

The card base is cut with Doo Hickey dies and both Tilda and the Bull finch are from the So Jolly 2009 collection.

All of the pretty embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl.

The second layer is embossed with Swiss Dots embossing folder and all edges are inked with DI Antique Linen. The pretty Poinsettia banner die is from Memory Box.

Tilda is coloured with Copics. The sentiment is from Penny Black.

I have another card up my sleeve to share in a few days but I can't share it yet. I will hopefully have something else to play with on my desk soon. We'll see :)

I hope you get a chance to play at your craft desk this weekend!
See ya - Kylie x

An early Christmas Card

What is this? A Christmas card already?
Sorry about that :) I had this adorable little stamp sitting on my desk so had to make a card with her.
She is Unwrapped Tilda from the 2009 So Jolly Collection.   I have masked the Snowy Circle from the So Snowy collection 2009 in a pale blue ink. Tilda is coloured with Copics.

The button twine, bells and ribbon are from the Ribbon Girl.

The papers are a mix off a few scraps I had laying around. I've used a few doo hickey dies as well to embellish.

I spent a bit of time in my craft room on the weekend organising it a bit so hopefully that means I will be inspired to craft a little more :)
Until then, happy crafting!

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

Hello crafty friends,
I'm back to share a pretty pink card with you today.

The challenge over on the Ribbon Girl Blog this week is to make a card and add flowers.

I've used this adorable new Tilda from Magnolia, she is Bohemian Peony Tilda from the Boho collection. She is paired with loads of beautiful Ribbon Girl goodies (Brown 2 tone 30mm wild roses, 28mm 'Matilda' IVORY Vintage Style Cluny Cotton Lace, 3mm Ivory Pearl Bead String, 16mm Ivory Ruffle Edge Faux Suede, 9mm 9597 Earth Velvet Berisford)

I masked Tilda and stamped this lovely script stamp behind her.  She has the most beautiful hair.
Head on over to the Ribbon Girl blog to take part in the challenge.

Until next time,
have a great week x
